There are a couple of nice museums where you could appreciate Rio de Janeiro’s arts and culture. The most famous one is the Carmen Miranda Museum, which pays tribute to the Brazilian bombshell who was considered one of the greatest stars of all time.
The museum has displays of the celebrity’s costumes, photographs, films and anything and everything about her life. Another place that showcases the arts and culture of Rio de Janeiro is the Museu Casa do Pontal. This folk art museum features some of the most interesting local sculptures, figures, woodcarvings and mechanized pieces in and around Brazil.
