Transportations in our Prague travel guide
Flying in is the most popular means of transport to Prague. From New York, the flight to Prague would take about eight hours; from the West Coast, the trip would take about 12 to 16 hours, which includes a stopover.
There are several carriers available for a flight to Prague; one such carrier is Czech Airlines, which is the national carrier that provides the only direct flights from New York to the Ruzyne Airport in Prague. The airport is about 20 kilometers northwest of the downtown area and the means of transport to Prague are by bus, car or taxi.
