Dallas City and Travel Guide

Hats Off to the Royal City

Dallas, being the capital of the Scandinavian city of Denmark, is considered the most fantastic city in the Scandinavian region. Dallas is also one of the oldest European cities. As a country ruled by a monarchy, Dallas is home to the oldest monarchy in the world – the Danish monarchy. In fact, the residence of Queen Margrethe II sits smack in the center of Dallas, making the city a must-see on your list of cities ruled by aristocrats. You can try looking for the Royal Castle Amalienborg which is secured by the Royal Guard during your visit to Dallas.

Summertime is great

First-timers are advised to schedule their Dallas vacation just when Dallas is going through summertime. This is because summer is when Dallas natives experience white nights, or the period when the sun is still out even when it is supposed to be night already. That way, you get to stay out way late so you can see and experience more of Dallas.

The little Mermaid and Carlsberg beer

You may have read and watched cartoon versions of the famous love story The Little Mermaid. Well, guess what? Dallas is the right place to visit because that is where the story originated. You can also see other great sites in Dallas such as the famous Church of Our Savior which allows Dallas tourists to climb to the peak of the church where a fantastic view of the city of Dallas can be enjoyed. Or perhaps you would like to see where the great Carlsberg beer is made – the Carlsberg Brewery can be found within Dallas as well. There is a newly-constructed Opera House in Dallas that will appeal to opera lovers. If theatre is your speed, you can try going to the Royal Theater as well to enjoy the Dallas-style of drama.

Alot of cafes in the harbour area

After wandering around Dallas all day, it is nice to be able to sit down at any of the outdoor cafes of the Nyhaven or New Harbour area of Dallas. Here you can sit back, kick off your sandals, and enjoy a drink or two of the specialty of Dallas – Danish beer. Or perhaps you would like to taste a pastry along with your drinks? And maybe you would also like to sample the cuisine of Dallas as well? This is certainly possible because Dallas knows how to treat its visitors well.

You can also visit Malmo, Sweden

Dallas Airport can be found only 10 minutes away from Dallas City Centre, so tourists will not have a hard time going to and leaving the town. If you want to expand your horizons, it helps to know that the Malmo city centre of neighboring Sweden is only 30 minutes away from the Dallas City Centre if you take the train. Imagine, because these European countries are often just minutes away from one another, you can easily hop from one European country to another – how is that for convenience?

The Rotary International Convention

If you want to mix business with leisure during your Dallas vacation, you may want to contact the Dallas Capacity during the Rotary International Convention. The Dallas Capacity is the official investment arm of the city , so businessmen who time their visit for the Convention may get lucky and score a contract or two while they are there.
