Restaurants in our Beijing travel guide
A visit to China, particularly Beijing, would not be complete without sampling Chinese cuisine at a Beijing restaurant. For dishes gleaned from imperial cuisine, you can go to Fang Shan – known as the first Beijing restaurant to offer imperial cuisine.
Jinshangchen is another Beijing restaurant but this one offers Sichuan-style cooking instead which has a huge following among Beijing diners. If you tire of Chinese cuisine and hanker after Western food, then you might want to go to the Beijing franchise of T.G.I. Friday’s for burgers; or perhaps take in the Scandinavian flavor of the food at The Little Mermaid.
