Transportations in our Amsterdam travel guide

Although walking is still the best way to enjoy the sights and attractions in Amsterdam, there are a lot of excellent alternatives. From the Schiphol Airport, there are rail links to bring you directly to the Amsterdam central station. You can also use the shuttles that regularly take tourists to their respective hotels.

Public transportation consists of the Metro, city buses and tram service. You can also opt to use the bicycle to go around the city, which is very accessible and inexpensive. Try out the Canal Bus and the Museumboot for an enlightening experience on the cultural and historical heritage of the city. Taxis, limousines, and other car rentals are available upon request.

Note: This is just a little summary about the city Amsterdam and all the Transportations you can find there.
